Girl: I love my smartphone, but I never use it in school. My teachers don’t like it. They always ask us to put them in our bags. It’s the same with headphones and MP3 players. We don’t listen to music in class! But, in one class, my teacher likes e-readers. We use them to read books or news articles. I don’t use a laptop in school, but I’ve got one at home, to do my homework.

Boy: In my school, we sometimes use smartphones, but not to talk to friends. We use them to find out information, or check something online.

Boy: In one lesson, we sometimes have laptops. For example, my teacher Miss James wants us to take a photo of our class, with a message ‘please like and share this’. She wants to know how many ‘likes’ the photo gets, and how fast it goesaround the world.

Boy: We sometimes use tablets in class, too. We play games! Not real games, but we learn how to write a computer program, or design something. I’m really interested in computers, so I love these lessons.
